We sat down with Vera Cleveland, Principal at Eagle Lake Primary School in Eagle Lake, TX. We talked about the current education system and the changes her school has made since the pandemic. She even addresses how her school is taking the proper measures to keep its students safe in the aftermath of the Uvalde school shooting. We also talked about community, the great teacher resignation, and why Vera is on a mission to redefine the role of a principal as she strives to get into the classroom more to help her teachers and staff.
