You Are Still Evolving

According to the Cambridge Dictionary, Evolve means to develop or unfold gradually from a simpler to a more complex form. It primarily refers to continuous, organic change or growth over time. When I think of evolve, I think of the words- Become, Break Away, and New Creature.

September is National Recovery Month, so this topic comes at a time where shifting your mindset may help you understand that you are not failing, but evolving. This video will help you to remember:

1. Don’t fight the process
   1. God is allowing each step to gradually build you for the next level. I talk about the different paths God took me in my career to place me where I am now.
   2. Launching Intellectual Beats was a learning curve….there were so many days where I wanted to just deactivate it because I felt lost….Thank God I did not tear down what He was calling me to build.
2. Don’t view failure as a setback
   1. You will feel defeated, but don’t allow that to keep you captive. It is just temporary.
   2. Give your experiences to God and watch Him work. When you get on the other side you will see how every “setback” was still used to shift you into your purpose.
3. Let God evolve the vision
   1. Be open if the vision has to change. When the pandemic hit, I couldn’t go to people in person anymore and film them or their events. I felt stuck. I later launched the podcast and started posting videos on YouTube. And guess what happened….momentum.
4. God will allow momentum to happen if you walk in obedience
   1. Whenever God said to post, I did. I stopped doubting what God was doing and allowed Him to be the algorithm.

Walking with the Lord will help you to remember that He is taking you through a process of evolving. If you are willing to hold out for who you are becoming, you will see that God needed to process you on each level so that you can arrive at where you are now.

This episode serves as a reminder and has become a testimony of what 7 years of walking with the Lord to create this platform has been like. We pray it encourages you.
