Sometimes we all just need a reminder that God is a promise keeper. But let’s be honest- one of the reasons it is hard to hold fast to this concept is due to time…..the waiting period. OR we are left in the dark after God gives us direction because God requires obedience, even if He doesn’t give the full blueprint.
When I visited the videos below, I realized that God kept His promise to me. Since the top the Lord told me to not renew my teaching contract, I have had a summer growing closer to the Lord and seeing Him and Jehovah Jireh and as a promise keeper.
I had to ask God a couple of times during the summer, “God, did I hear you right when you told me to leave my job?” That can happen when months go by and you are still jobless. But look at God- He provided me with a job opportunity and it is more that I expected. He is faithful! I hope to unpack more details in a future blog/episode soon.
If you have been believing the Lord for something, just know that it is on the way. God is reminding His children, “I remember you.”Scriptures to remember:“The promises of God are yes and amen.” – 2 Corinthians 1:20“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” -Galatians 6:9
